Our Story

Core-swan began when a group of working cinematographers noticed a gap between academic film programs and the practical skills required on professional sets.

We established our training centre with a straightforward philosophy: teach the craft the way we wished someone had taught us. That means fewer lectures and more time behind the camera, working through real scenarios with real constraints.

Today, our graduates work across broadcast, feature films, documentaries, and digital content production throughout Australia and internationally.

Our Approach

Every program balances technical precision with creative exploration. You learn the mechanical operation of cameras and lighting, but equally important is developing your eye for visual storytelling.
